Best programming language for beginners

                     Best programming language for beginners

Why you want to become a programmer ?The answer may be , for getting a job in companies like google, facebook or for creating my own website or for creating my own app or others.

So,the first step to become a programmer is to learn programming language.Learning programming language is just like learning any other language like English, French etc.You first learn about basics and then implement them to form small programs and then move on to advance level. So now the question is which programming language should I choose to learn first as a beginner. The answer to this question is C++.

I would mention here some reasons for recommending  C++ as a first programming language and not recommending languages like Python,C etc.So the reasons are :
  • C++ is a very vast language and it covers many languages like C and if you learn C++ then you also able to write code in C with minor changes.
  • Learning C++ is bit tough than languages like Python but if you want to become a good programmer then you must put efforts for increasing your thinking capabilities and this can be done by learning and programming in C++.
  • After learning C++,It is very easy if  you want to learn other programming languages like Java,Python etc. because you only have to learn syntax while you already know the logics'
  • Learning C++ as your first programming language may take long time but as you finish C++ ,your confidence level in programming must boost up a lot.
So till now you must get a fair idea that why to choose C++ as first programming language over other languages. Now the next question is from where to learn C++ ?
From my experience, the best source to learn C++ is a book named An Introduction to programming through C++ by Abhiram Ranade. You can buy this book from Amazon.I like this book most because it starts from scratch and covers each and every topic related to C++. Problems of this book are fantastic and they surely make you a good programmer if you practice them all on your own.

Other sources you can use to learn C++ are online websites and Youtube videos. Please make sure that from wherever you start learning please don't leave C++ just after 2-3 chapters. It is a very common mistake done by students.C++ seems to be tough in beginning but as you go further it seems to be easy and more interesting.

And the last point,if you want to become a good programmer then there are no shortcuts that can make you programmer in just 2-3 days. You have to work hard and only key to success in programming is practice.Write as many programs as you can, write as many codes as you can and try solving problems in more than one code.
